I grew up in the Pacific Northwest's Seattle area watching movies with my Dad. He and my Mom inspired me to travel, and after going to Europe and Canada, I went to China and Japan on my own. Japan was especially amazing since I started watching anime at the age of 12.

These experiences shaped my artistic journey. My work tends to have an anime-based style with sharp noses and chins, and especially the big, shiny eyes. The style called to me because characters could be unique, vaguely realistic, and dynamic all at once. Anime was one of the first mediums that showed me and inpsired my love for longer forms of storytelling. The styles, techniques, and storytelling inspired me to be an artist because if I could draw and write, I could make my imagination come to life.

I studied mainly 2D animation in Adobe Animate, but I am versed in Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro. I also have some experience studying 3D animation in Maya. I utilized these skills when working at White Snake and on the short, independent films Amare and Epilogue, as well as working within the teams for both projects.

When I'm not drawing and animating, I'm watching what's out there! My favorites are still Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds, Legend of Korra, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Fruits Basket (2019). Although, I absolutely adore watching new series out there too like Jentry Chao Vs the Underworld, Apothecary Diaries, Invincible, and Frieren: At Journey's End!
